Meet our new team members
Welcoming new Team members!
Staff Achievements!
At Crossroads, we love to recognize the accomplishments of our amazing team members. Hard work should be applauded, and successes spotlit as exemplars for others. We shout out here recent professional and educational achievements!
Emily is a substitute Teaching Assistant who has joined our team recently, a friendly and energetic individual who has easily bonded with kids around the building.
We’re excited to congratulate her hard work and achievement of her Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY New Paltz. This degree – a major in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy – brings her closer to her goal of someday becoming a mental health therapist. Perseverant as she is, she is already in the process of applying to graduate schools, where she looks forward to majoring in Social Work with a specialty in mental health counseling and applied psychology. Emily, we are proud of you! We can’t wait to see the amazing things you will continue to achieve!
Congratulations to Katie, now a Registered Behavior Technician!
We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible journey of one of our own, who began at Crossroads as an intern, became a valued team member, and has now achieved her RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) status — all while finishing her senior year at Union College! Katie, your dedication, hard work, and commitment to both your education and our community are truly inspiring. We are so proud of your accomplishments and can’t wait to see the amazing things you will continue to achieve!
Katie reported that the exam was very cohesive with what she does daily, and it was rewarding to be able to achieve this and be the best she can be for the kids.
Congratulations to Emily W who is now a Board Certified Behavior Analyst! Woohoo! Emily says that it was a challenging process becoming a BCBA, and one that took a while for her to complete. She feels proud of her hard work and accomplishment which will open up an array of new possibilities for her and empower her to do more for children and to grow in countless ways.
We are so proud of you Emily! Way to go!
