6/1/26 Congratulations, Michelle

We are thrilled to celebrate Michele on earning her Teaching Assistant Certification from SUNY Schenectady! 🌟
This achievement represents a great deal of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Michele has been working toward this goal for a long time, and throughout the journey she has remained positive, determined, and committed to her growth as an educator.
What makes this accomplishment even more special is Michele’s willingness to encourage others. She is always quick to remind her teammates that while the process can be challenging, the rewards are worth the effort. Her support and encouragement have inspired many others to pursue their own professional goals.
We are so proud of Michele and grateful for the care, enthusiasm, and dedication she brings to our students every day. Congratulations on this well-earned accomplishment!
5/30/26 Congratulations, Keaton!

Keaton’s journey at Crossroads began as an intern, and he quickly discovered a passion for working with our students. We were thrilled when he decided to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in Room 13, where his easygoing nature, big heart, and authentic connections with the children have made him a valued member of our community.
As if graduating wasn’t exciting enough, Keaton has also been accepted to graduate school! We know his compassion, dedication, and desire to help others will continue to take him far.

Sarah is an amazing Teaching Assistant in Room 5, bringing positivity, dedication, and care to her students every day. And she’s not stopping here—this fall, she’ll be returning to Messiah University to pursue her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, with hopes of working in pediatrics in the future.
We are so excited for all that lies ahead for Sarah and know she will continue making a difference in the lives of children and families. Congratulations on this incredible achievement!
5/18/26 Congratulations, Stephen!

Congratulations Stephen, BCBA
We are beyond excited to celebrate Stephen on earning his BCBA certification — an achievement that represents years of hard work, determination, and perseverance. Stephen shared that after working toward this goal for so long, finally attaining it felt both like a huge relief and an incredible victory. In his own words, he wanted to “scream out to the heavens” with excitement.
Stephen has also openly shared that, as someone on the autism spectrum himself, there were times growing up when others doubted his potential and discouraged him from believing in what he could achieve. Today, his accomplishment stands as a powerful reminder that those voices do not define a person’s future.
He hopes others pursuing this path know that while the journey can be long and challenging, it is absolutely worth it. And for everyone who knows Stephen, this milestone feels especially meaningful because of the kindness, authenticity, and care he brings to his work every day. As an autism specialist and clinic team member, he has already made such a positive impact on students, families, and coworkers alike. He is not only deeply skilled, but genuinely loved by all who know him.
Congratulations, Stephen — your Crossroads family is so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see all the new horizons ahead

Congratulations Kavita! 7.11.25
Please join us in celebrating Kavita on two amazing accomplishments — earning her Level 1 NYS Teaching Assistant Certification and being promoted to Lead TA! Her dedication, compassion, and natural connection with the children make her such a valuable part of our team. We’re so proud of all she’s achieved and grateful for the care and heart she brings to her classroom every day.
Kavita says that her experience with the certification process was positive. She found the classes very informative, especially about learning strategies. “It really opens your perspective in things you usually gloss over, take for granted. To be more aware as an educator makes you more available, more present for your students.”
Moving from a school-age classroom to a preschool one is a bit of a change, one that Kavita says is so interesting. She loves seeing the little ones and having the perspective of how they progress, how much we can help, from early years to later ones.
Way to go, Kavita! Your future is bright!
