Welcome Nick!
We are excited to welcome Nick, our newest intern from Union College! Nick is a Neuroscience major that has a passion for learning about autism and researching different behaviors. Room 12 will be happy to have the extra hands, especially someone who is so eager to learn and help in any way he can. Welcome to the Crossroads Team, Nick!

Welcome William!
William is looking forward to learning about ABA while he spends his term with us, and also in gaining experience with our special population of children. A Union College junior, he is placed in Room 11, where he can share his many skills and experiences as a substitute teacher and an athlete. He finds connecting to others and having an impact most satisfying in his work, and we are glad he is here at Crossroads.

Welcome Cole!
Cole is a Union College student who brings an admirable bundle of skills in leadership and volunteering to his internship. He will graduate in May with a BS in Neuroscience, and is interested in research and going back to school for furthering his education. Here at Crossroads he is working with Room 14 this term, and is excited to see the kids make progress and engage in activities he hopes to help plan. We are delighted to have him with us!

Welcome Sophie!
Sophie is stationed in Room 1 this term, a Union College student with big goals for a PHD in her future. Sophie's major is Cognitive Neuroscience and she will graduate in June of this year. She is also a Women's Field Hockey player and holds the record for wins of a goalkeeper. She loves kids and getting them outside is something she is looking forward to. Welcome to Crossroads Sophie!

Welcome Jessica!
Crossroads is welcoming our newest intern, Jessica, today! Jessica is a student at Union College and will be helping out Room 5 during her stay here. We look forward to all Jessica has to offer and we're excited to have her join the team. With her experience in ABA and child development, Jessica will be a valuable asset to Room 5. We look forward to being a part of her career growth and teaching her more about ASD and special education. Learn lots and welcome to Crossroads!!

Welcome Gabbi!
Gabrielle comes with experience in research, crisis counseling and mentoring teens through STEP (Science Technology Entry Program) workshops. Her passion for clinical psychology sets her career goals to being an addiction psychologist in the future. At Crossroads she looks forward to learning everything she can about children, especially children with special needs. We're thrilled to have her in Room 2 this trimester.

Wednesdays Are Better With LifeSong, Inc.! Every Wednesday, we’re lucky to be joined by a wonderful group of volunteers who help behind the scenes in countless ways — organizing, prepping materials, lending helping hands, and brightening our day with their presence. Their hard work makes a huge difference, and we’re so grateful for their time, care, and dedication. This week, amongst several other jobs, the group put together this vehicle to go into the gym. Thank you, LifeSong! You are truly part of what makes Crossroads so special.

Welcome CBS!
We are thrilled to welcome to our "Behind the Scenes" volunteer program, Community Based Services. This crew, like LifeSong, will be with us for 2 hours a week, helping with some important maintenance tasks, from replacing library books to the shelves, to restocking paper goods. We are happy to have them with us!

Carol & Moonbeam
We are thrilled to have Carol and Moonbeam visit us circulating through the building when we're fortunate enough to be able to schedule with them Moonbeam is a flat-coat lab, and Carol is her owner. Moonbeam, aged four, is certified as a Therapy Dog by Therapy Dogs International, and her training shows. Gentle and sweet, she loves children, and our students responded with delight to her kisses and wagging tail.

Margie, Quiet behind-the-scenes rockstar
We are beyond grateful for Margie, a wonderful a part of the Crossroads family for several years. Each week, Margie dedicates her time and talents behind the scenes, contributing in countless ways to support our students, therapists, and teachers. Thank you, Margie, for your unwavering support, kindness, and generosity. You are truly an integral part of our team, and we are so lucky to have you!

Donna, behind the-scenes-superstar
A big shout-out to Donna, an unsung volunteer hero behind the scenes! 🌟 Yesterday, Donna devoted hours to organizing HR paperwork and files, bringing order to the chaos and making our HR Specialist's job a whole lot smoother. Donna's dedication to detail and tireless efforts haven't gone unnoticed! We are grateful for her commitment!
