Kathy, Library Volunteer

A Shout Out to Kathy

Kathy is here each week to read to the kids. Classroom teachers sign up for one of four slots per week, so not everyone gets a turn each week, but over time, the rotation can include everyone. She is incredibly dynamic and engages the students at so many levels, not to mention the humor that she plants that delights our staff as well. You're awesome Kathy! Thanks for all you do! Visit Room 7 to see a recent classroom visit.

Welcome, Marcus!

4.2.24 We are happy to welcome Marcus for the next three months. Marcus is a Psychology major at Union and will become a part of Room 1 while he is with us. He loves sports, especially frisbee and basketball, and also brings a bit of musical interest to the team. Marcus brings with him some behavior technician experience, and we are delighted to have him here at Crossroads.

Lifesong

3.27.24 Today's LifeSong crew helped box up books that we no longer need, to be donated to the Schenectady Boys & Girls Club. Since we are moving soon, it was a great time to decrease our inventory in this room, which often collects way above and beyond what we can ever use. We appreciate the help with organizing that these wonderful folks provide!

Margie P.

Margie 3.20.24

Today, Margie dedicated her time to a task that might seem mundane to some but is absolutely crucial for our operations. She spent today scanning evaluation materials for our speech department, Margie has not only ensured that everything is in its rightful place but has also made it easier for our team members to access what they need. Thank you, Margie, for your invaluable contribution and for making our school a better place for everyone! 📄🖇️✨ #TeamAppreciation #ThankYouMargie
