9/18/25 A Huge Thank You to Excelsior University’s IT Department!
Today, we had the incredible support of 22 volunteers from Excelsior University’s IT department, and what a difference they made! Divided into four dynamic teams, each group tackled a unique project that brought energy, creativity, and much-needed help to our space.
🌿 Nature Trail Crew – This powerhouse team took on the heavy lifting, shoveling, and hauling gravel to enhance our nature trail. Their hard work laid the foundation for a more accessible and enjoyable outdoor experience for students at a later date.
🎨 Art Center Team – Creativity was in full swing as volunteers helped our kids paint vibrant colors on hard stock paper. These masterpieces will be transformed into punch-out puzzle pieces to be used as favors for our upcoming Gala—colorful, meaningful, and made with love!
🏃♀️ PE Courtyard Crew – Thanks to this group, our courtyard came alive with movement and fun! They ran PE centers for classes based on teacher sign-ups, giving students a chance to play, explore, and be active.
📚 Lamination Station – Behind the scenes, this team tackled a mountain of teacher projects that needed laminating. Their help saved our staff hours of work and ensured classroom materials are ready to go.
Having so many extra hands today was absolutely amazing. We are deeply grateful for the time, effort, and heart each volunteer brought with them. Thank you, Excelsior University, for being part of our mission and making a lasting impact!
