Crossroads Center for Children is excited to share that we’ve received a generous grant from the Dake Foundation for Children. With their support, we’ll be able to provide our students with new bikes to enjoy during the warm months ahead.
For our children with autism, these bikes are about so much more than just play. Riding helps build balance, coordination, and strength, while giving kids the chance to move their bodies in ways that are both fun and helpful. It’s also a wonderful way for them to practice social skills, take healthy risks, and gain confidence as they explore a new skill.
We are deeply grateful to the Dake Foundation for Children for helping us bring more joy, movement, and independence to our students’ days. Thanks to them, our playground will be full of laughter, adventure, and learning.
Thank you!!!
