Teaching children to use scissors

Presented by Chenoa Off, Occupational Therapist, this video was made from a recording of a training session she did to teach team members how to teach scissor skills to students. In the presentation, she reviews milestones, techniques, and strategies that will be helpful to teachers and parents alike. Her powerpoint can be viewed along with watching the video to clarify some of the slides, by going to our website and looking under the OT Department. There is a bit of background noise, for which we apologize. Background noise was minimized electronically, however, the presentation was done in our school setting, so you can hear kids in the background, and therapists and teachers discussing strategies during the presentation. No worries, however – you can still hear Chenoa and what she’s getting at. Our videos are all safe for children to view, even though we create them for the adults that care for them. Thanks for watching!
