Exciting News: Our Butterfly Unit Funded Again! 🦋 6.27.24
Bender Scientific Fund of The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region.
We are thrilled to announce that our beloved Butterfly Unit has been generously funded for another two years, marking the fifth consecutive year of support from this incredible foundation! Â
Thanks to their long-term commitment, our students will continue to delve into the fascinating world of butterflies, learning about their life cycle, eating habits, and more. This hands-on experience allows the children to observe caterpillars as they transform through each stage of the life cycle, culminating in the magical moment of releasing beautiful butterflies into the world.Â
Watching the awe and wonder in our students’ eyes as they witness these transformations is truly priceless. This program not only enriches their understanding of nature but also instills a sense of responsibility and curiosity that lasts a lifetime.
A heartfelt thank you to our foundation partner for making this all possible. Your generosity fuels our mission and inspires us every day. Here’s to another two years of exploration, discovery, and growth, as we move into our new building, where our butterfly gardens were moved to earlier in the spring.Â
