Volunteer Positions

 Join us in our mission of helping children with and without developmental disabilities prepare for life success in their families and communities!

We have many opportunities to help make a difference for our students and their families.

Here are some current needs:

Low student contact – 1-2 hours /week – flexible timing
  • Mulch Maintainer – Help us keep our playground safe. Mulch needs to be raked weekly, and enhanced as needed.
  • Preppers – for teachers, therapists, administrators, etc. – laminating, copying, cutting, shredding, materials set up, filing.
  • Clinic helpers – help with cleaning toys, creating and organizing materials, making copies, laminating and cutting, in the clinic.
  • I.T. Assistant – help with website maintenance, social media.
High student contact – 1-8 hours/week – under supervision of staff – also flexible timing within the school week days
  • Classroom helpers – classroom – assist in supervision and implementation of classroom activities.
  • Lunch helpers – classroom or cafeteria – assist in supervision of lunches.
  • Mystery Readers – classroom or library – provide direct reading to student classes.
  • PE helpers – gym or outside – assist in supervision and implementation of PE activities to student classes.
  • Art helpers – classroom – assist in supervision and implementation of art/craft activities to student classes.
  • Music helpers – classroom – assist in supervision and implementation of music activities to student classes.
