Shenendehowa Schools, Junior National Honor Society, Koda Middle School…. THANK YOU!

Yesterday at a check-presentation celebration in the auditorium, a group of wonderful students, teachers, advisors and administrators from Shenendehowa schools gathered and presented Kelly Young, Crossroads Center for Children’s Executive Director, with a check for $1,200. Kelly was accompanied by Vicki Ramotar, Resource Development Specialist and Cindy Barkowski, Board President. Also in attendance was Heather Morrison of Spectrum News, and Glenn from the Community News.

The project that raised this money was a tee-shirt sale. The tee’s design was created by student Cleo Goldman, chosen from a design contest orchestrated by graphic arts classes. Jean Arar, who led the project, is a past parent of Crossroads, an advocate of Autism Awareness and selected this nonprofit to donate the money to.

Pictures below, including some of the student created Autism Awareness posters that align the school’s walls.

Crossroads wishes to extend bountiful thanks to everyone involved. We are deeply grateful.

We’re incredibly thankful to Shenendehowa Schools! A fundraiser on our behalf is underway.

Cleo Goldman, a Shen student, designed an amazingly beautiful piece (pictured)!

This special artwork will be printed on T-shirts, to be sold for $15.00 each.

T-shirts are being sold in many of the schools at Shen!
