Rite Aid Kid Cents Grant Organizes our Library

July 13, 2018

We just have to show off our new library shelves!

We are putting the money we received from our Rite Aid Kid Cents grant to great use and bringing neatness and organization to our school library!

Since the five shelves we had previously were not enough to hold all of our books, we have purchased three brand new ones. For the past several years we’ve been using milk crates and cardboard boxes as book shelves.

The new shelves are the same make as the old ones, and are of excellent strength and quality.  They look awesome and will hold up over time.

The organization of books is an ongoing work in progress, but Mrs. Kathleen, our awesome library volunteer will have us in order in short time.

Thank you, Rite Aid, for having the Kid Cents Program! Thank you to all of our Rite Aid shoppers for the support of this wonderful program that does so much in the community!

Here’s where YOU can sign up to start making a CHANGE and help Crossroads Center for Children prepare children for successful lives. Rite Aid Kid Cents!

Our Library is important to us because it is an essential aspect of our Literacy and ELA programming. Read some more about how the great teachers and therapists at Crossroads are teaching children to love reading!
