Moving it during the school day!

August 02, 2018

Incorporating MOVEMENT into the school day is so very important for children! Check out this activity implemented in Room 6 last week!

Learning colors is a lot of fun, but it’s even more awesome when you get to move around to do it!

Mrs. Meaghan called the children in turn. She called out a color, and the student jumped on the spot of that color!

For an extra challenge, she DIDN”T call the color by name, but by an object of the color!
This little guy knew to jump on orange when she said to jump on the color of a carrot, green for the color of grass, and yellow for the color of the sun!

The students had a blast with this activity!
