How the Fox Foundation is Helping Kids

January 03, 2022

1.3.22 For the second time in the span of a couple of weeks, we want to thank The Seymour Fox Memorial Foundation!

We’ve just received a second grant, this one in the amount of $3,000 to help specifically with our Healthy Food Program and our Social and Communication Skills here at Crossroads. We are thrilled to have this support and looking forward to putting their grant to good use.

Thank you Seymour Fox Foundation!

12.20.21 Time and again we are stunned by the compassion of our benevolent community, and now we have a new grantor to thank. The Seymour Fox Memorial Foundation has been in existence since 2012, yet we just came into each other’s lives in the fall prior to the start of COVID, having met at a professional conference.

During our application process, we were amidst concerns with funding that had increased significantly due to COVID. New protocols and procedures called for increased time and spending, and in our proposal, we spelled out the needs we were facing, and the Fox Foundation approved our request. We are pleased to thank them for a $5,000 grant to help meet the ongoing costs of operating during our current realities and continuing to put our students first.

On their website, there is a beautiful quote that speaks to the foundation’s mission. “Providing a helping hand to turn inspiration into accomplishment.” The memorial was formed in honor of Seymour Fox, a Troy attorney who was well known for helping those who needed it and making the world a better place. To have their support at Crossroads is a new blessing that we are proud of.

Thank you, Seymour Fox Foundation!
