Oh, do you know the Muffin Man, the Muffin Man, the Muffin Man….?    1/27/17

We do! He has an awesome mission of helping to showcase organizations in the community who are doing GOOD! And he chose us for his next show!

That’s right, Thadeous Pinckney, aka “the Muffin Man” saw our SACC.TV shows and loved our story. He’s come to meet us, and then attended our DATE NIGHT last week at BL’s Tavern, taping some of the guests to get a sense of why fundraising is so important to us as a non-profit school. And today he came after the school day was over, to get some recording of our environment. He’s coming back another day again too! Isn’t that wonderful?

His show, The Muffin Man Show, can be seen on Sunday at 9:30 am on Channel 4. It is also posted on the SACC.TV website.

So, Thaddeus has been here twice now to record our school environment. Here are the shows that he made to showcase Crossroads!

We are so very thankful to Thaddeus for his time and creativity in helping us to get our message out! A world of thanks also to Randall and Randy Hogue, of SACC.TV for all of their expertise and guidance, and all they are doing to help us.

3/20/17 Update

We had a great time at our Bowlathon on March 5th, and guess who turned up to help again!?! You got it, the Muffin Man. We are so appreciative of his help in sharing our cause! Here is his latest episode including a segment about Crossroads!

Do You Know The Muffin Man? – Episode 14 “Revisiting Our Friends in the Community”

As always, we are grateful beyond words to Randall Hogue and Randy Hogue of SACC.TV for editing all of the Muffin Man’s tapings and interviews together into a beautiful show.

6/29/17 Update

The Muffin Man – aka Thaddeus Pinckney – came by the other day for a follow-up! Now, if you’ve  had the chance to meet this special guy, you already know what a kind and creative artist he is, with a rare imagination and an eye for a good story. He has helped us in the past by recording a variety of happenings here and off site, with kids and staff, family and friends, and helped to share our message both on Channel 4 and on SACC.TV (also very special guys there!).

This week he visited with Kelly our Executive Director, and Vicki, Resource Development Specialist, getting a chance to catch up on some of our upcoming plans and recent happenings at Crossroads Center for Children. We’ll be sure to post a link to the show once we have access. In the meantime, click on any of the pictures above to see The Muffin Man’s previous shows highlighting Crossroads.
