Get your family and friends involved, too! Regardless of which Hannaford they shop at, shoppers can donate to any participating school of their choice using digital redemption. Scan the QR code on the School Dollar printout to download the app or access the online redemption tool. Thank you for your help!

We are sending home with students a card that explains how to help raise money for any participating school of your choice. This program goes through the month of MAY!

We’ve received another $63. from Hannaford from the shoppers purchasing participating products, redeeming coupons, and choosing Crossroads! We are so very thankful!

We have to hand it to Hannaford; their community bags program is always a hit. In April, the Rotterdam store selected Crossroads for the SECOND time this year, and with the help of their shoppers, raised $190 for our programs and services. We are thankful to everyone who helped!

11.1.21 Community Bags Keep Giving!

Now that people can purchase community bags any time, at any store, and allocate the donation to whatever organization they wish to, we’ve received additional monies from Hannaford Helps. Today we received a check for the year in the amount of $60.

10.21.21 Thank you, Hannaford, Rotterdam! 

Today we received a check from the June Fundraiser at the Altamont Avenue store, in the amount of $104. Thank you to the store and its shoppers for the wonderful support for Crossroads!

7.12.21 Thanks again to the Hannaford store in Glenville and all of the customers who bought a community bag in the month of February to support Crossroads. We received a check on Friday for $352. from this February fundraiser.

Please remember that at any month of the year, at any Hannaford store, you can fill out the tag on the bag to have them designate the dollar to Crossroads. Pretty cool, right?

5.17.2021 We’re thankful to once again be chosen as the charity of the month at the Altamont Ave. Hannaford! 

For the month of June 2021, Crossroads Center for Children will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at the Hannaford store located at 1400 Altamont Avenue, Schenectady. Buy a few! These are great not only for your groceries, but they work well at the beach, park, and to school too!

3.5.2021 HANNAFORD HELPS BAGS

Thank you to everyone who bought a Hannaford community bag during February at the Glenville Hannaford! Because of you, Hannaford has donated back $1. for every bag purchased, and is sending us a check in the amount of $352. Donations such as this one help us carry out the mission and work that we are dedicated to – helping our students learn the important skills they’ll need in their lives.

Did you know that you no longer have to wait for a certain month to buy community bags at Hannaford stores? That’s correct – you can fill out the tag on the bag to have them designate the dollar to Crossroads ANY time of the year, at ANY Hannaford store. Pretty cool, right?

10.1.2020  Appreciation and gratitude to the Hannaford at 1400 Altamont Ave. Schenectady and their customers who purchased bags during May! Today we received a check in the amount of $77.00 from this fundraiser on our behalf. 

Something new to know is that the bags now come with a Giving Tag on them, which allows you to direct the donation to us at ANY time of the year. No matter where your Hannaford is, you can pick up a bag and follow the instructions on the tag to help!
