Giving Tuesday. 12.1.2020

November 09, 2020

Giving Tuesday is 12.1.2020.

Join us for the day, as we host a video-thon to allow you to meet some of our loyal supporters. As we share with you, we want you to share with your community, and encourage others to raise awareness about giving ALL kids the skills they need for successful lives. We’re hopeful to again have enthusiastic support from our wonderful community!

What is Giving Tuesday?

  • a global day dedicated to charitable giving all over the world.
  • follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday as a day to focus on generosity and giving to nonprofits.
  • connects the forces of nonprofits throughout the world and through our local community, raising awareness and essential funds for the work nonprofits do.

Why does Crossroads participate?

Crossroads has participated each year since 2012! We look forward to this day as an opportunity to have our message seen and our mission supported financially by kind people that want to help. As a fundraiser the day helps us meet our annual budget. Crossroads serves upwards of 120 children and families each year, and to do so we need lots of community support. We also participate as part of our belief in creating a community of philanthropy, and fostering community in our students and team.

Help make the world a better place for children and families living with autism and other special learning needs.

Tune in:

We’re hosting a video-thon of some of our most loyal supporters. Visit our Facebook page where we’ll stream videos on Giving Tuesday, so our community can meet and learn about each other.

That’s also where you can find our Facebook Auction Group and bid for a full week on some very special items.

Get Social:

  • Share and share alike. Online days of giving are successful because of our own networks. Help us grow our network by sharing and communicating to your network.
  • Be socially (media) active. Use your social media networks: post on Facebook, tweet about  #GivingTuesday and share your love for your particular passion for education, autism, speech, OT, PT, ABA, fundraising, and so on. Share posts and events posted on Crossroads’ channels. Ask others to do the same.
