November 20, 2018

(Post updated – 11/20/18)

Each year, Crossroads helps over 100 children and their families from all over the region. As a non-profit school, we need the support of the community to run the school and carry out the important work of giving children skills that are vital to success in life.

Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to charitable giving, all over the world, so of course it is a day that we are counting down the days to!

#GivingTuesday is also known as #NY Gives Day in New York State.

We need your support to make our GIVING day a success, helping children all year long.

Read on to find some ways that you can help.

We are excited to be part of the movement again this year

at Crossroads Center for Children!

Giving Tuesday is a global day for charitable giving that many are familiar with. Crossroads has participated each year and looks forward to this day as an opportunity to have our message seen and our mission supported financially by donors looking for charitable giving opportunities. It follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday with a day to focus on generosity and giving to nonprofits.

Giving Tuesday and NY Gives Day – the same day!

Once again this year, we are joining forces with non-profits across our state, raising awareness and essential funds for the work we all do.

is the “arena” for N.Y.S. organizations to put our needs into words in an online campaign .

We are hopeful to have a huge show of support from the community that Crossroads serves, as well as from others who care about our cause.

Help make the world a better place for children and families
living with autism and other neuro-developmental special learning needs.
DONATE in any of these ways:

Get SOCIAL:

  • Share and share alike. Online days of giving are successful because of our own networks. Help us grow our network by sharing and communicating to your network.
  • Be socially (media) active. Use your social media networks: post on Facebook, tweet about  #GivingTuesday and #NYGivesDay, and share your love for your particular passion for education, autism, speech, OT, PT, ABA, fundraising, and so on. Share posts and events posted on Crossroads’ channels. Ask others to do the same.
  • Share our posts about the Rite Aid grant we are receiving. Use these tags: @RiteAid Foundation, #KidCentsThanksForGiving to help us earn another $2,500!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Here at Crossroads, while donors from our community are giving to the school, the school will be giving a special day to our children and families! With the help of some very caring volunteers, we’ll give the gifts of dance, animals, and art to our students and their parents.

Here’s our line up:

1. Our old furry friend, Tugg, from the Cock’n Bull Restaurant

2. A pig named Albert EinSwine

3. A demo a nd dance with Dance Fire Studio and Fitness

4. Sensory footprint painting with Vicki, Rene and Tammy
