Friendship Tree!

Room 4’s Friendship Tree.

Crossroads Center for Children is located at 1136 North Westcott Rd. Schenectady, NY 12306. Our mission is to prepare individuals with and without developmental disabilities for life success within their family and community.

Friends and Crossroads go together hand in hand! This beautiful project created by Room 4 is proof!

Whether it’s learning to help each other or to share…… to take turns or to be kind……. this classroom is learning that social skills are as fun as they are important!

Check out their amazing Friendship Tree! The colorful foliage shows the hands-on learning of colors, placement in space, and offers up an exciting experience with how paint feels when brushed on your hands!

Check out their Name/Letter projects, too!

Parents and teachers alike are sure to be proud of these! These children are learning that every friend has a  name, and what those names are. Additionally, they are learning that a letter corresponds to the sound that starts each person’s, and discovering what the first letter of their own name is!

Thanks for sharing your delightful projects with us, Room 4! Great job!

Swinging into Room 6!Congratulations to Haley, BCBA!
