Family Portrait Day

January 26, 2022

Update 1/26/22

We have a new date for Family Portrait Day! It will be Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, and we plan to hold it outside. The rain date will be on Sunday, July 24th, and we will determine whether or not we’ll need to postpone to the rain date the day before (Friday, 7/22) depending on the weather.

We will have a sign-up for you by the end of May.

Update 1/11/22

We are sorry to say that we are postponing our Family Portrait Day until the late spring or summer. This is due to the low number of signups we’ve gotten – just 6. Knowing that quarantines are high right now, we hope that we’ll be able to hold this event safely at a later date, and will most likely hold it outside.
We apologize for any disappointment and inconvenience.
Sincerely, Vicki Ramotar, Resource Development
Crossroads Center for Children

Crossroads is excited to announce our first Familly Portrait Day, thanks to the generosity of local photography artist, Samantha Bailey.

The event will be held at the school on Saturday, 1/15 from 9 am-1 pm. In case of inclement weather, a snow date is planned for 1/22 at the same time. We will determine whether or not we’ll need to postpone to the snow date the day before depending on the weather.

The cost is $25 for a 5-minute time slot and 1 fully-edited digital image.

Parents will sign up online for a 5-minute slot –SIGN UP HERE

  • Each 5-minute slot is $25.
  • The cut-off date is 1/14.
  • This is only reserved for immediate family members of current students and staff, and no pets.
Parents will receive an email when they sign up. The email will include a contact form for parents to print out and complete beforehand and bring with them, along with cash or check. You must have the form with you so that we can keep the order of the sign-ups.
After editing, Samantha will send the images directly to the family via email. She will not share any of the images online or on social. Families are welcome to reach out to Sam directly to schedule a full family session in the future if they want.
