CDPHP grant will support our curricular program this year!

November 02, 2018

Crossroads Center for Children is excited to announce a grant from CDPHP!

CDPHP has notified Crossroads that they have approved a $5,000 grant to help with the schools curricular needs.

This generous gift will help tremendously throughout the entire program’s classrooms and therapy areas.

Across the school, Crossroads uses curriculum to support the individual needs of the students in each class. Learning Without Tears and Touch Math have been used for the past several years, and Learning A-Z is a more recent addition to the program. As new students come to us, and as we keep pace with changes in our state’s learning standards, it is increasingly important to have the curricular materials and supplies in place that will help students gain needed skills.

CDPHP requires that certain criteria be met by the asking organization, such as demonstrating sound fiscal and administrative management, benefitting communities in their service area, and registration as a 501(c)(3) organization. Crossroads is proud to be selected and is grateful for this generous gift.

CDPHP has established deep roots in the communities they serve, cultivating close ties and supporting the mission of countless civic, cultural, and charitable organizations. Since the founding of CDPHP in 1984, the corporate giving program has donated millions of dollars and contributed thousands of volunteer hours to extend the reach and impact of numerous charities, improving the lives of residents in their 26-county service area.

Established in 1984, CDPHP is a physician-founded, member-focused and community-based not-for-profit health plan that offers high-quality affordable health insurance plans to members in 26 counties throughout New York. CDPHP is also on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
