Big Dippers, planets, stars ..... our classrooms are outa this world!

May 24, 2018

At Crossroads Center for Children, teachers plan classroom themes for their students, bringing in the interests of the children.

Through the theme, the class can work on a variety of subjects and address the students’ individual goals as well as other important concepts and skills.

One of the classroom themes that was popular recently was SPACE!

Room 4 made Big Dipper constellations out of pretzels and marshmallows!

The classroom also made some beautiful art to show the planets and stars.

Room 13 also used their creativity to learn about Space!  Playdoh gave them a chance to roll, cut and form shapes. Students sequenced the letters of their names to make these adorable rockets.
